Kelly Coldren has been a part of Crystal's School of Dance since the doors first opened in 1991; and has been calling it her "home away from home" ever since!  Miss Kelly was the studio's first student soloist and student teacher.  Miss Kelly is beyond thrilled to be able to share her love of dance and performance with the next generation of CSOD dancers!  It is her goal to pass on the magic and life lessons bestowed upon her as a child (and still to this day) by Miss Crystal.

Kelly performed with the Schuylkill Ballet Theatre for 8 years where she was a soloist in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Coppelia, The Sleeping Beauty, Little Women and Carmen.  She has also performed at Longwood Gardens and the Academy of Music in Philadelphia with the Savoy Company in their production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Sorcerer.  Kelly was also among a select group of dancers chosen to perform in the Kennett Symphony's production of Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals.  She was a semi-finalist for the PA Governor's School for the Arts in 2000.  Kelly also performed as one of the founding dancers of the Between Movement Contemporary Dance Company.

Kelly graduated from West Chester University in 2005 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a minor in Dance Performance.  At West Chester, Kelly served as a dancer, choreographer and Vice President for Dance Production Workshop.  She was also a member of the University Dance Company and the Traveling Troupe and is now a member of the Alumni Dance Chapter.  Kelly has participated in numerous dance festivals and workshops including the American College Dance Festival, PSAHPHERD Convention and Dance Olympus.  Kelly has also taught at several dance studios in Chester County and has been teaching for 14 years.

In 2009, Kelly formed the Shining Light Dance Company which provided additional performance opportunities for CSOD students.  She is currently the Artistic Director and lead choreographer for the studio's holiday show, A Christmas Cabaret.

Kelly also had the privilege of serving  as Choreographer/Assistant Director for the Blue Mountain High School Drama Club musical productions for five years and has choreographed for productions at the Majestic Theater in Pottsville as well.
